ReadON APP Updates (v1.4.18)
ReadON is a Web3 decentralized content aggregation and distribution product. Our goal is to create a one-stop platform for Web3 users to access all information and become a traffic entry point from Web2 to Web3 in the future. To meet the increasing demand of ReadON users worldwide, we have recently launched Russian and Indonesian language settings in version 1.4.17. Furthermore, in the forthcoming version 1.4.18, we are excited to introduce some highly-anticipated features that the community has been eagerly waiting for.
🔸 Wallet Function Optimization
We have optimized the wallet function, including the transfer and receive features, to enable users to transfer their assets from their wallet to external accounts or receive payments by scanning QR codes.
Please note that at present, it is not possible to view the wallet transfer history within the app, but users can access this information on the ReadON official website.
🔸 ReadON Catto Withdraw Function
In this update, we have added a withdrawal function for ReadON Catto, allowing users to transfer their minted Catto NFT to internal or external wallets.
The ReadON Catto NFT can be found on Opensea at: https://opensea.io/collection/readon-catto
How to withdraw:
- Open the Catto page in the cattery and select the Catto NFT you want to transfer.
- Scroll down to the bottom of the NFT page, click on “withdraw”, and choose whether you want to withdraw to your in-app wallet or external wallet.
Transfer to wallet (on Arbitrum): Transfer the Catto NFT to your in-app wallet.
Transfer to external (on Arbitrum): Transfer the Catto NFT to your external wallet.
- Check the wallet address to ensure it’s on the Arb network, and then click on “transfer” to withdraw.
Please note that withdrawal of on-sale Catto parts is currently unavailable and will be enabled in future updates. Stay tuned!
🔸 Twitter Account Connection
We’ve added a feature to connect your Twitter account. Once users have linked their Twitter account, they can see their Twitter ID in the settings and receive 100 points for completing the Twitter integration task.
Additionally, users can find ReadON’s official Twitter and Discord server directly in the settings.
🔸 Author Detail Page
We’ve added an author detail page, which allows users to easily view other content by clicking on the author’s profile picture while reading their favorite content.
🔸 Update on Anti-Cheating Agreement
In order to further maintain a fair community and protect user data security, we have updated the definition of ‘faking real devices’ in the ReadON user agreement.
Faking Real Device: includes the use of simulators, app cloning software, and application double-opening software.
Using such tools may exploit system vulnerabilities and tamper with application data. This agreement update will take effect at 0:00 on March 20, 2023(UTC).
