ReadON 2022 Year in Review
We are pleased to present the annual review for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2022. In the past year, our team has made significant progress in the development and expansion of ReadON APP, launching several innovative new product lines. The following pages contain detailed information about these achievements, including updates to our products, collaborations, and partnerships. 💫Review of product Updates
🔹Close Alpha Test:
September 15th ~ December 5th, 2022
The ReadON app has received a lot of attention and support during its alpha testing phase, with many people finding joy in using it to read. However, the current version of the app is not yet perfect, as it has received more than 300 reports of bugs and feedback. The app’s popularity is demonstrated by this high level of interest and feedback. The team is now moving on to the beta phase, further testing and refining the app before its public release. Overall, the ReadON app has made significant progress and has the potential for success.
🔹Open Beta Test:
December 9th, 2022 ~ Now
The ReadON Public Beta Test is a testing phase for the ReadON app, which aims to bridge the gap between Web2 and Web3 and allow users to turn their attention into assets through addictive reading. The app includes updates to the login and registration process, the article list and detail page, the topic square, the personal center and SBT, and the wallet. Users can log in and create a wallet using traditional Web2 methods, choose their preferred app language and theme, mint an SBT representing their unique identity in the ReadON community, and view and read high-quality content from various sources. The app also includes features such as a personal recommendation feed, a topic tab, and a classification system to help users find content of interest. The app also includes a personal center, where users can view and edit their personal information and settings, and interact with other users through the community forum. The ReadON app is open to users worldwide and invites them to provide feedback and suggestions during the testing phase.
🔹ChatGPT-based Product Sphinx Launched:
ReadON has taken the lead in using OpenAI’s ChatGPT artificial intelligence chat prototype to provide users with a completely new way of interacting. In addition, ReadON has also introduced a new blockchain proof mechanism called ‘Proof of Read’ to verify users’ reading behavior and provide rewards for genuine readers. By combining these two technologies, ReadON brings new possibilities for the application of blockchain technology in the field of contents.

🔹Community Building:
The ReadON community consists of over 100k members, including over 50k Twitter followers and over 50k Discord members.
ReadON has received special attention from users in Japan and South Korea:
Many of ReadON’s users are from Japan and are enthusiastic about using the ReadON app to read the latest blockchain news and share it.❤️❤️
ReadON has established a strong bond with the Japanese LGG guild, and more than 1,300 listeners participated in the AMA with LGG.🔥🔥
At the same time, LGG wrote research slides about ReadON, which were well-received by Japanese users. 😀😀
ReadON has held more than 40 AMAs with well-known projects and KOLs in Japan and South Korea, the AMA with MEXC Japan being particularly popular, attracting over 3,000 listeners on Twitter and Telegram.🎉🎉
🔹Soulcard Event:
ReadON has introduced the Web3 soul-bound system, known as the ReadON Archive, which mints users’ experiences as soul-bound tokens (SBTs) that represent their reputation in various topic areas. These SBTs can be used to determine users’ eligibility for governance rights in the ReadON universe and can also be accessed by other dApps to access users’ reputation data. In the ReadON soul-card event, over 35k people participated in interacting with SBT cards, and the organization earned a ranking of second on the Arbitrum network and sixth on the BSC network.
🔹Events on various Task Platforms:
ReadON has organized over 30 events of introduction and witness of project on various task platforms, with a total of 32k users participating.
On the Link3 page of ReadON, a total of 9,205 W3ST were issued.
- Our team designed and released 7 adorable Catto badges, which serve as a witness of ReadON’s product development and innovation.

2. Troy, a co-founder of ReadON, attended the Arweave Asia 2022 offline conference.
3. ReadON took home the first prize at the Web3 Infra Hackathon.
4. ReadON ranked third in Binance feed’s November content rankings.
🔹Collaborations & Partnerships during this year:
During the year, ReadON engaged in various collaborations and carried out activities with partners from different fields in order to explore new opportunities for the future, including hosting over 40AMAs with more than 25k listeners in total.
