OKX x ReadON — Create Your ReadON Profile: A Step-by-Step Guide to Minting on ZKsync Era

In the OKX x ReadON campaign, participants can mint their ZKsync Era Profile using the ReadON app or the web version.

Here are the steps to mint your ZKsync Era Profile in this campaign:

1. Click the link to download the ReadON App https://readon.me/download
2. Complete the registration/login of your ReadON account in the app.

Now you can choose either to mint your profile on the web page or directly in the app.

In-app Minting

1. Connect to a mobile Metamask wallet with Era network and make sure you have enough for gas fees as well
2. Mint the ZKsync era Profile to your OKX wallet address

On-web Minting

1. Log in to the same account registered in the app on ​https://readon.me/personal/zkMint
2. Connect your OKX wallet and mint your profile

1. Please sign up for a ReadON account in the upper right corner if you don’t have one.

2. If you have not downloaded the ReadON app yet, please download it first, and then log in to your ReadON account in the app. After that, complete the account login on the web portal before proceeding to the next step.

3. In this step, you need to click the “Connect OKX wallet” button. Please make sure that you have installed the OKX extension for Chrome before doing so.

4. During the next step, please follow the system prompt to verify that the wallet address for minting is correct, and ensure that the ZKsync Era Profile address is a wallet address that can be imported by OKX Wallet or created through OKX Wallet.

5. When you reach this step, you are very close to success! Select your desired handle of 5 characters or more for your ReadON Profile on Zksync Era, as required.

6. Congratulations when you see this screen! You have successfully minted your ReadON Profile on Zksync Era. Next, please go to OKX web3 wallet to claim your reward and discover more ways to play!

In version 1.4.28 of the ReadON app, we have officially launched the “Mint a ReadON Profile on ZKsync Era” event in the personal center page. As some of these steps may be challenging for beginners, we’ve created a helpful guide to assist users in navigating the process.

The OKX Web3 Wallet can be accessed by selecting “Web3 Wallet” in the OKX app, and it is recommended to mint the ZKsync era Profile using the ReadON mobile app.

Friendly Reminder: For the ZKsync Era Profile mint, it is recommended to use a wallet address generated by OKX Wallet or an address that has already been imported into OKX Wallet.

Step 1: Enter Your Wallet Address

First, you need to fill the wallet address, where your NFT will be minted. You can use any EOA (Externally Owned Account) wallet address for this purpose. — — But it needs to be the participation address for Cryptopedia campaign.

Step 2: Create Your Profile ID

Next, input your profile ID, which should be 5–20 characters in length. It can only consist of lowercase letters, numbers, and underscores.

Step 3: Pay the Gas Fee

Choose any external wallet that is connected on your ReadON account to pay the gas fee. Before you can pay the fee, you’ll need to bridge $ETH to ZKsync network (to cover gas fees).

Step 4: Import the wallet address that holds your ZKsync Era Profile into OKX Wallet to claim your rewards and explore more activities!
