Mint Your Own ReadON zkPass: A Step-by-Step Minting Guide

Welcome to ReadON! We’re thrilled to introduce the ReadON zkPass, a privacy-enhanced, ZK technology-driven version of the ReadON Pass. This innovation allows users to engage with our platform privately and securely, without revealing personal information or wallet addresses.

Starting with a ReadON Pass SBT, which can be obtained by creating a ReadON account, you can mint a ReadON zkPass through the Manta Network NPO.

This guide will take you through the process of creating your own ReadON zkPass. Let’s get started!

Step 1

First, navigate to the ReadON zkPass project page by opening this link: https://npo.manta.network/calamari/sbt/projects/zkReadON.

Step 2

Click on ‘Verify Holder’. Choose your wallet and connect to validate your eligibility.

Please NOTE, only the wallet address connected to a ReadON account is eligible.

If you don’t have a ReadON account yet, please download the ReadON app by clicking this link: https://readon.me/download. You can register directly with an EVM wallet, or connect an external wallet to an already registered account.

Step 3

Click on ‘Connect to Manta Wallet’.

If you haven’t used Manta Wallet before, you’ll need to first add the Manta Wallet extension to your Chrome browser and refresh the page.

Open the Chrome extension to create your Manta Wallet. Here’s a quick rundown of the Manta Wallet setup process:

After entering and confirming your password, you’ll be provided with your mnemonic phrase, zkaddress, and public address.

Step 4

Once you’ve connected your wallet, validated your eligibility, and connected to Manta Wallet, click on the ‘Mint’ button. Verify the signature, a checkout page will appear, click ‘Confirm’ to complete the minting process(gas fee will be covered by Manta Network).
