Mint Your ccProfile on the ReadON App Now
ReadON is participating in the #CONNECTED2023 web3 social hackathon, while also holding the ReadON Danmaku Festival for our new feature. Users may need to mint their own ccProfile to participate in subsequent activities. To facilitate this, we have collaborated with CyberConnect to launch a new feature that allows users to directly mint ccProfile on the ReadON app or web page.
If you do not find the entrance to the feature, please try to update to the latest version.
What is ccProfile?
ccProfile is a decentralized on-chain profile based on the ERC-721 standard, which serves as a secure and self-sovereign digital identity, introduced by CyberConnect. It allows users to own their social graph, content, and monetization channels and enables them to travel seamlessly across the internet without having to recreate their network on every new platform. ccProfile is designed with security and recovery in mind, leveraging a decentralized peer-to-peer trust network.
Additionally, ccProfile enables content monetization, giving creators the ability to monetize their content through on-chain subscriptions, tipping, and more, without relying on centralized platforms.
Overall, ccProfile is a powerful tool for building verifiable digital reputations, representing social status and affiliations, and enabling secure and decentralized content creation and monetization in Web3.
How to Mint Your ccProfile Using ReadON’s Tool?
Via the Entry in the ReadON APP
- Open the ccProfile minting page from the ‘Personal Center’ on the ReadON app.
- Enter a 12-character or longer characters to mint your ccProfile for free (domains with less than 12 characters may require payment).
- Click ‘Confirm’ on the signature page that appears.
Via the Entry on ReadON website
- Visit https://readon.me/personal/ccProfileMint to access the ReadON official website portal. Click on the top right corner to ensure that you are logged into your ReadON account.

Dear ReadONer, we believe that you have already tried the Super Bullet Chat feature in the video section (if you haven’t, please go to the DanmakuFest section on the homepage and give it a try lol).
Danmaku/Super Bullet Chat is the first decentralized bullet chat system, where every super bullet chat is recorded on the blockchain, providing a permanent record of users’ comments (or praises) on content.
As an innovative product, it is not yet perfect. Therefore, we have prepared a FAQ to help you understand the product and answer any questions you may have.
Q: Why is a signature needed?
A: Because bullet chat is recorded on-chain! Super bullet chat is integrated with the Cyberconnect social protocol, and every bullet chat records a social interaction.
Q: Why do I need to set a password?
A: We use the built-in MPC wallet as infrastructure, and when you sign for the first time, you will be prompted to add an asset password.
Q: Bullet chat is recorded on-chain? Cool! What about gas fees?
A: Bullet chat is free to mint and is covered by ReadON. You can interact without worry.
Q: Can I only send three bullet chats a day? Can I pay to send more?
A: In future versions, we will add a way for users to spend gas to send more bullet chats.
Q: Can I send gifts?
A: In future versions, we will add a gift giving feature. Gifts will be transferred directly to the creator after they claim their wallet.
Q: How do video creators see my comments?
A: Super bullet chat is on the blockchain, so any video frontend can permissionlessly display corresponding bullet chats. Creators can not only see user comments on ReadON, but we will also create a web page to make it easy for creators to see them directly on the web.
Q: I want to complete the bullet chat task, but I have run out of free bullet chat chances.
A: This is because the cooldown time for the super bullet chat system and the task system is not consistent, but we have fixed this issue.
Q: I want to see more videos from creators.
A: The next batch of video creators’ content will be available soon. We welcome your feedback directly in the community or within the product and recommend your favorite creators
